We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2021, at the age of 37, William M. Gately in Salem, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Kevin Gately. He is survived by: his parents, George Gately and Sally Thompson of Peabody; his son Aidan (Shannon); his aunts and uncles, Charlotte, Mike Shea of Salem, Mark, Laurel Thompson of Swampscott and Linda Thompson of Peabody; and his pet Athena.

Attendees are kindly asked to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing.
