With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Francis Cass III of Salem, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Cass and Janet M. Cass; and his brother Edward Cass of Apalachicola, FL.. He is survived by: his son William Cass (Billy) of Dublin, CA; his wife Sallie Cass; his daughter Sallie Pottle (Greg) of Hamilton; his siblings, Janet Bucossi (Bill) of Sebastian, FL and Robert Cass (Susan) of Sturbridge; his sister-in-law Bettye Cass of Sebastian, FL; and his grandchildren, Carson, Libby and Liam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
