It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vasilios Viglas of Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Viglas and Eleni Viglas (Plastiras); his son Andrew Viglas; his former wife Rosa Preza; and his siblings, Athena Gytha, Angelo Viglas, Paul Viglas, Fotini Mania, Toula Polizos, Apostolos Viglas and Elefterios Viglas.
He is survived by: his daughter Alexia Viglas Meechin (Ryan) of Salem; his granddaughters, Sophia, Adriana and Olivia Meechin; and his sister Martha Alexopoulos. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and in laws.
