It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Joseph Hallinan Jr. (Salem, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Hallinan (Shea); his parents, Thomas J. Sr. Hallinan and Louise Hallinan (Kay); his daughter Ann Hallinan; his granddaughter Katie Hallinan; his siblings, Jane Krause, James and William Hallinan; and his siblings-in-law, Alice and Thomas Pitcher.
He is survived by: his son David Hallinan (Hazel) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Becky Eleftheriou of Methuen and Thomas Hallinan of Reno, NV; his goddaughter Elizabeth Armstrong of Peabody; and his friend Mary Kate Kiley-Brosnan (David Brosnan) of Peabody. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his dear family.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the O'Donnell Cremations-Funerals (167 Maple St, Danvers, MA 01923). A committal service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (57 Orne St, Salem, MA 01970).
