He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Emple and Anne Goldman Emple Kaplan; his brother Gerald; his grandmother Mary; his wife Lucy Potts; his brothers, Barry of Cana and Gerry of Watertown, CT; his son Charlie; his stepdaughter Hannah; and also, Daniel and Rosa. He was also cherished by four nieces and one nephew and their spouses and children.
Before the rise of Covid-19 necessitated physical distancing, Ted received dozens of visitors from near and far who came wanting to spend time with him: reminiscing, playing music and reflecting together on his life and their friendships with him.
