It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann (Atkinson) Kobialka (Salem, Massachusetts), born in Peabody, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 27, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Atkinson and Daisy Atkinson (Lefave); her daughter Susan Elizabeth Kobialka; and her brother William Atkinson. She is survived by: her husband Theodore Kobialka of Salem; her daughters, Ann Tucker (Paul) of Salem, Karen Moran (Robert) of Salem and Shirley Kapnis (John) of Salem; her grandchildren, Daniel Tucker, Meghan Payne (Dylan), Shannon Tucker, Susan Jones (Parker), John Moran (Kathleen), Kristina Moran and Kathleen Moran; and her siblings, Robert Atkinson (Jean), Carol Smith, Daisy McIntyre and Marilyn Bryant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours Thursday, May 30th from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Shirley's memory to the Immaculate Conception Church, 158 Federal St., Salem, MA 01970.
