He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Shoer and Mandel Shoer; his wife Selma Shoer (Kaplowitch); and his siblings, Leo (Sylvia), Irving (Jenny), William (Jennie), Paul (Sylvia), Louis (Faith), Ida (Shoer), Goldstein (Sam), Libby (Shoer), Halperin (Meyer), Ruth Rossman (Shoer), Betty (Shoer) and Feffer (Ben).
He is survived by: his son Michael Shoer (Pamela Jameson) of Atlanta; his grandson Alex Shoer; his daughter Liz Fachler (Adam); his great grandchildren, Emery and Rowan; his son Brian Shoer of Marblehead; his grandson Jacob Shoer; his son Howard Shoer (Stacey) of Miami, FL; his grandsons, Mack Shoer and Carter Shoer; his great-nephew Daniel Maas; and also, Averi, Noah, Jared Kaplowitch and Sam. He is also survived by his three sons and families, including, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel (10 Vinnin St, Salem, MA 01970).
