He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer J. Gagnon and Marie R. Gagnon (Jalbert); his son Paul M. Gagnon; and his brothers, Napoleon, Henry, Eli, Omer, Robert "Pete", Roland "Mike" and Leo Gagnon.
He is survived by: his wife Doris M. Gagnon (Boucher); his children, Michael J. (Jeanie A. Gagnon), Eileen M. (Joseph M. Beaulieu), Donald P. Gagnon and Marie D. (Christopher J. Raphael); his grandchildren, Randi M. Gagnon-Davis, Joseph P. Beaulieu, Stephen M. Beaulieu, Alicia M. Beaulieu, Ryan C. Raphael, Nicole M. Raphael and Daniel P. Raphael; his great grandchildren, Aaron J. Davis and Brianna M. Beaulieu; and his siblings, Andre Gagnon and Yvonne.
