Gourdeau (Shinnick); his wife Constance O'Neill; his children, Peter (Donna), Martha Fenton (John) of Andover, MA, Henry (Deborah) of Andover, MA and Jule Whelan (Tom) of Freeport, ME.; his grandchildren, Jack, Clint, Peter of Hamilton, MA, Jordyn, Adelaide, Aidan of Andover, MA, Oliver, Samuel of Andover, MA, Molly, TJ and Teddy of Freeport, ME; and his sisters, Elizabeth Ober, Jean Larchez of Ipswich, MA, Gail Jacus of Kirkwood, MO and Joan Dunn of Beverly, MA.. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
