He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Erekson and Orrion Erekson. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Erekson; his children, Richard V. Erekson and Maureen Erekson; and his grandson Corey Erekson. He is also survived by many other brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
