He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Melanson and Elizabeth Melanson (Bayne). He is survived by: his wife Ursula; his daughters, Diane Melanson of San Francisco, CA and Elyse Hood of Norfolk, VA; his siblings, Richard Melanson of Long Beach, CA and Ruth D'Entremont (Robert) of Danvers; and his granddaughter Sarah Aaronian (Michael) of Billerica. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
