It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralf Hartwell (Salem, Massachusetts), born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralf Lee Hartwell and Mary Davis Hartwell; his children, James Hartwell (Laura), Janet Hartwell Barnet (Peter) and Sarah Hartwell Pennywitt (Neil); his grandchildren, Jessica Barnet O'Shea, Kaitlin Barnet, Jenna and Megan Pennywitt; his sister Mary Hartwell; and also, Wendy, Marguerite and James Kennish of Brentwood, NH.
