She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Novick and Sarah Novick; her brothers, Harold, Louis and Irving Novick; her husband David Joseph Flaxer; and her children, William (Amy) of Peabody, Joan (Mel) of Newburyport and Jonathan (Linda) of Scarsdale, NY. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
