With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Owen F. McCann of Salem, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius McCann and Ellen McCann; and his siblings, James J. McCann and Mary Boudreau. He is survived by: his siblings, C. John McCann and Catherine Murphy; his children, Ryan J. McCann of Washington, DC, Tara D. O'Sullivan of South Boston, Erin M. Hayes of South Boston and Neil F. McCann of Lynn; his grandsons, Finn, Rory and Declan McCann; his friend Nick Gianturco; and his wife Jacquelyn B McCann of Salem.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (579 Boston St, Lynn, MA 01905).
