He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Tache and Corinne Tache (Michaud); his sons, Peter and Thomas Tache; and his siblings, Cecile St. Gelais, Emma Tache, Joseph Tache, Stanley Tache, Henry Tache, George Tache, Theresa Pelletier, Henrietta Lojko, Lucien Tache, Paul Tache, Marie Pesce and Jeannette Gagne.
He is survived by: his wife Annette I. Tache (Tondreau); and his children, Judith A. Tache of New Hampshire, Leanne M. Francis (Scott) of Salem and Dr. Daniel E. Tache (Kathlyn) of Appleton, WI.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
