He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carty and Florence Carty (Darisse); and his child Shawn Carty. He is survived by: his close friend Tracey O'Donnell of Salem; his daughters, Erica Decelle (Michael) of Salem and Haley Carty of Salem; and his grandchildren, Kylie and Mikayla. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
