She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacinto Costa Rita and Idalina Pereira; her husband Manuel Valadao; her son Paul Valadao (Belinda); her sister Lourdes Alves (Clinio); her sister-in-law Maria G. Pereira; and her brothers, Carlos Costa Rita (Elja), Francisco Costa Rita (Isaura) and Victor Costa Rita.
She is survived by: her son Fernando Valadao (Theresa) of Salem; her siblings, Fernanda Costa Rita of Salem, Luis Pereira of Peabody and Mario Costa (Lucia) of Peabody; her sister-in-law Maria Rita of Peabody; her grandchildren, Paul Valadao, Nicole Correia and Timothy Correia; and her godson Mario Costa. She is also survived by 73 nieces and nephews.
