The passing of Lyn L. Southern of Salem, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 71. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Southern and Joan Southern; her siblings, Rhonda Johnson and William Freestone; and her close friend Sarah Jean Whitcomb.
She is survived by: her friend Lyn; her children, Samantha Southern of Salem and Timothy Southern; her daughter-in-law Sarah of Columbus, GA.; her grandsons, Jacob "JJ" Darisse of Salem, Elliot, Mason, William and Benjamin "Benny" Southern of Columbus, GA.; her siblings, Ron Southern (late Ginger), Charlie Southern, Wally Southern (Fran), Jessica Whitney (David), Lisa Darnell (Mike), Arlene Southern and Renee Bureau; and her close friends, Janet Hever, Michelle LeFrancois and Penny Sullivan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Josefa Rivera de Grateraux's Funeral Service (84 Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970).
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Lyn's visiting hours which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM on Friday, January 10th from 4 to 7 P.M.
