She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Makar; and her parents, Lester Newman and Jeannette Newman (Labbee). She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Armstrong (Roger) of Danvers, Judy Brennan (Frank) of Georgetown and John Newman (Kathee) of Gloucester. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
