She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emile Dionne and Jane Dionne (Pelletier); her husband Roland B. Lessard; her children, Lorinda Redel, Donna Christoforou (Peter), Scott Lessard (Kim) and Ronald Lessard (Lisa); her grandchildren, Brad, Chad, Cayley, Andrew, Jenna and Nicole; her son Bruce Lessard; and her sister Claire Di Troia. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
