With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James O'Connor (Salem, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 15, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Patrick of Nahant; and his niece Sharon Barbiarz. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his grandson George LeVasseur of Salem; his siblings, Christine Howard of Nahant, Timmy O'Connor, Nina O'Connor of Nahant, Linda Christensen and John Christensen of Quechee; his sister-in-law Diane O'Connor of Nahant; and his siblings, Thomas (Jan McGrane), Sandra (Robert Barbiarz), Carol (Larry Gillis) and Gail (Joseph Markowicz). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
