She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Puleo and Mary Puleo (Mattera); her husband Joseph DeFranzo; and her daughters, Jody Michele DeFranzo and Maureen Beth (DeFranzo).
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Orloff (Gary) of Swampscott, Sharon Cody of Danvers and Brenda Schutz (Adam) of West Newbury; her son-in-law Michael Cooney of Amesbury; her grandchildren, Danielle Bettano (Nick), Stephanie Orloff, Michele Cody, Alexander Cody, Ryan Cooney (Kate), Erin Davis (Tom), Isabel Schutz and Oliver Schutz; her great grandchildren, Sophia Bettano, Hunter Bettano and Cameron Davis; and her siblings, Elizabeth DeGrazia of East Freetown, Charlotte Puleo Alimenti of Salem and Chuck Puleo of Beverly.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home (85 Federal St, Salem, MA 01970). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (226 North St, Salem, MA 01970).
