He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel and A. Mello; his wife Hilda; his siblings, Mildred, Jeannette, Emma, Florence, John and William Mello; and his grandson Barry Mello.
He is survived by: his friend Bob; his sons, George Mello Jr. (Susan) and Richard Mello (Beverly); his grandson Kevin Mello (Erica); his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Amber, Anthony and Samuel Mello; and his pet Lincoln.
