Genevieve Sobocinski Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Sobocinski of Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Raymond Z. Sobocinski (Soby); her parents, Walter and Frances Radzinski (Wojtkiewicz); her children, Richard Sobocinski (Louise) of Chesapeake, VA, Carol Hurst (Rick) of Westford, MA and Barbara Sobocinski (Michael Hawkins) of St. Petersburg, FL.; her grandchildren, Kathryn Sobocinski (Mark Nelson) of Bellingham, WA, Matthew Sobocinski (Meaghan Dolan) of Alexandria, VA, Nathaniel Hurst of Shirley, MA and Christopher Hurst (Janice Carroll) of Tewksbury, MA.; her great grandchildren, Aniela and Sloane Sobocinski; her siblings, Boley, John, Henry, Stephen, Alice Radzinski, Jessie Wolkiewicz and Sophie Romani; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Richardson and Geraldine Agocs.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions services will be private, and are under the direction of the Murphy Funeral Home.
