She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Chambers and Eliza Chambers (Horswell); her former husband Leonard Burke; her husband Joseph E. Wadleigh; her siblings, Herbert Face and Esther Columbus; her friend Yvette Bosse; and her close friend Franklin Atkinson.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Joseph Wadleigh, Edwin Wadleigh, Karen Macmenimen, Kristine Dorsey and Kathyrn Wadleigh; her grandchildren, Erika Wadleigh, Joseph Wadleigh, Tim Garland, Sean Dorsey, Sara Dorsey and Lillian Friars; and her friends, Darlene and Robert Atkinson. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Florence would like to friends to make a donation in her name at either the Seacoast Cancer Center or Perkins School for the Blind.
