He is survived by: his wife Winifred Ann Leahy; his children, James Wilkens (Lisa), Eric Wilkens of Fort Collins, CO, Jill Wilkens Atkins (Stephen) of Westford, MA and Lynn Schwarz (Jeffrey) of San Francisco, CA.; his grandchildren, Gemma, Paul, Leo Wilkens, Sierra and Owen Atkins; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Accardo, Mary Thomson and Ginger Sheeran.
