He is survived by: his children, Ron Smithers of Lynn, Deb Brown (Kip) of Lee, NH, Sue Beatty (John) of Lynn, Karen Smithers of Braintree and Tom Smithers; his grandchildren, Ron Smithers Jr. of Lynn, Erica Tanguay (Gregg) of Pelham, NH, Tim Smithers of Chapel Hill, NC, Justin Brown of Lee, NH, Eric Brown (Katie) of Peabody, Molly Narducci (Justin) of Groveland, Keri Smithers (Johnny) of El Paso, TX, Christine Smithers (Nick) of Danvers and Michele Beatty of Marblehead; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Hailey Tanguay, Shane Smithers (Junior) and Grant Smithers (Little Tommy); and his sister Mary Arrington (Steve) of Andover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
