He is survived by: his friend Joan Buttler of Peabody; his children, Peter J. Desjardins (Nancy) of Reading, Diane D. Kotkowski of Braintree, Joanne M. Powers (Clifford) of Marblehead, Andrea J. Compton (Wayne) of Salem and Cheryl A. Di Pirro (David) of Peabody; his brother Auguste "Gus" Desjardins (Dorothy) of Indiantown, FL; his brother-in-law Norman R. Auger (Dorothy) of East Bloomfield, NY.; his grandchildren, Caitlin Carotenuto (Michael) of Marblehead, Mallory Green (Geoff) of Brookline, Thomas Powers of Epping, NH, Jamie Pratt (Steve) of Braintree, Olivia, Emily and Hallie Di Pirro of Peabody; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Charlotte Pratt and Jack Carotenuto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
