He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Walsh and Margaret Walsh (Trainor); and his siblings, Eleanor Walsh, Angela Doyle, John Walsh, Donald Walsh and James Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Walsh (Marshall); his children, Lisa Walsh (Susan Poublon) of Sandown, NH and Charles B. Walsh II of Salem; his grandsons, Charles B. Walsh III (Danielle) and Joseph D. Walsh of Salem; his great grandchildren, Charles IV, Ella, Caleb and Emilia; his siblings, Marjorie Reynolds of Salem and Brendan Walsh of Salem; and his daughter Charity P. O. Box.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Josefa Rivera de Grateraux's Funeral Service (84 Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (Hawthorne Blvd, Salem, MA 01970).
