He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Phelan and Dorothy M. Phelan (Arnold); and his brother Scott M. Phelan. He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Phelan (Turcotte); his children, Daniel J. Phelan (Hilary Wolkan) of Salem, Corey R. Phelan of Salem, Dawne M. Vincent of Salem and Brian M. Phelan II (Anne-Marie) of Danvers; his grandchildren, Rebekah Vincent, Hannah Phelan, Eva Phelan, Eben Phelan and Beckett Phelan; his brothers, Keith M. Phelan (Beth) of Salem and Robert M. Phelan, Jr. (Anna Spencer) of Salem; and his pet Bruin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
