She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome L Strauss; her brother Barry Kaufman (Cynthia); and her parents, William Kaufman and Dianne Kaufman. She is survived by: her son Matthew Strauss (Danielle) of Swampscott; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Jacqueline Strauss of Swampscott.
A funeral service for Barbara will be held privately at Tifereth Israel of Revere Cemetery in Everett, MA. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, shiva has been omitted.
