He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Garro (Drebit); his parents, Leo Garro and Mary Garro (Quarteroni); and his siblings, Malvina, Mary Lee, Philomena and Diane Garro.

He is survived by: his children, Anthony Garro of Salem and Lisa Connell (Matthew DeGennaro) of Haverhill; and his sisters, Loraine "Cookie" Boucher (Dean) of Peabody, Cynthia Prato (Paul) of Farmington, NH and Lisa Cade (Loren) of Wahpeton, ND. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
