He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Andrew J. Roy (Ryan) of Fitchburg, Alyssa M. Fleming (Brandon) of Worcester, Amanda E. Roy of Holden and Anna M. Roy of Holden; the mother of his children Kimberly A. Roy (McConville); his brother Kevin F. Roy (Kathleen) of Worcester; his aunt Mary Prince (Mulvey); his pet Mark Alarie; and his parents, Joseph J. Roy and JoAnne M. Roy (Mulvey). He was also cherished by three nieces; cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church Food Pantry.
