He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Newton and Dorothy Newton (Winchester). He is survived by: his children, Scott Newton (Mary Amero) and Jennifer Winters (Michael); his stepchildren, Joseph Spear (Amanda), McKenzie Spear (Nick Robbins) and Colleen Spear; and his siblings, Willard Newton, Geoffrey Newton (Diana), Keith Newton (Deborah), Anne Robertson (Lyall) and Deborah Bullock (Fred). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
