Sharon McKay wrote a sympathy message

“Norene was my best friend for over 50 years after meeting in high school. She was a very caring person, a wonderful wife, and mother to Adam and Danny Weick, loved the cats and dogs she had over the years and other furry animals along with her fish. She was a hard-working woman, always. I cherish our friendship and our girly vacations to different states. I am so sorry for your suffering and I will always miss you. Rest in peace my friend. Love, Sharon”
