Maria Grazia Matticoli Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Grazia Matticoli of Rowley, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedetto Cianchetta and Antionetta Cianchetta (Cifelli); her spouse Attilio Matticoli; her grandmother Maria Grazia Cianchetta; and her siblings, Marcello Cianchetta and Iolanda Rae (Cianchetta).
She is survived by: her daughter Eliana Paglia (Alfonso) of Rowley; her grandson Attilio J. Paglia (Tina) of Rowley; and her great grandchild Cesare A. Paglia of Rowley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (253 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (106 Brimbal Ave, Beverly, MA 01915).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Maria's memory to either: St. Mary Star of the Sea, 552 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915 or ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place.
