He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Kent and Marion Kent (O'Neil). He is survived by: his sons, Michael J. Kent of Merrimac, MA and Jason Kent of Orefield, PA; his sisters, Mary Newton of Haverhill, MA, Betty Brickley of Amesbury, MA and Nancy White of Newburyport, MA; and his grandsons, James M. Kent, Joseph R. Kent and Hugh D. Kent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
