It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida M. McElroy (Rowley, Massachusetts), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Mazzaglia and Sarah Mazzaglia; and her husband Stephen Clark McElroy. She is survived by: her siblings, Tom Mazzaglia (Ellen) and Patricia Abate (Charlie); her nephew Kevin McElroy (Kate); her children, Bridget (Garrett), Nora (Eben), Gemma, Karen Groleau (Jim), Matthew Twomey and Carly; her grandchildren, Sean (Kristie), Kyle (Katie) and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Alexia, Bella, Colin, Owen, Lyla, Levi, Parker and Ford. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Due to the ongoing restrictions pertaining to Covid-19, services will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Rowley Food Pantry, or Merrimack Valley Hospice of Haverhill.
