It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest A. Yanakakis (Rowley, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 6, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kleo Yanakakis and Apostolis Yanakakis; his children, Heide Holmes of Newburyport, Kristine Smiley McKechnie (Jim McKechnie) of Rowley, William Yanakakis (Paula) of Ipswich and Peter Yanakakis of Natick; his sister Mary Yanakakis of Lynn; his grandchildren, Samantha Smiley, Curtis Smiley, Casey Holmes, Chris Yanakakis, Ben Yanakakis, Alex Yanakakis, Lindsay Yanakakis and Corey Yanakakis; and his wife Monika. He was also cherished by his mother and sisters.
