He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Lasell Watson and Claire McLamore Watson (Thaw); his brother Michael L. Watson Jr.; his wife Deborah; his children, Jessica and Aden (Jamy); his grandchildren, Owen, Benjamin Watson, Francisco and Estlin Brouillette; and his sisters, Bronwyn, Diana, Marion Watson and Anastasia Markson.
