Carolyn L. Peabody Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn L. Peabody (Rowley, Massachusetts), born in Beverly, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Grimes and Arthur Grimes; her son Wayne P. Marquis of Danvers; her stepson Myron F. Peabody III of Wareham; and her siblings, Norman, Arthur, Louis, Shirley Grimes, Elizabeth Leslie, Phyllis Parker and Audrey Leighton.
She is survived by: her husband Myron F. Peabody Jr.; her children, Debra L. Marquis of Boxford, Linda J. Marquis (Tim Markham) of Peabody and Scott A. Marquis of Exeter, NH; her daughter-in-law Nancy Marquis of Danvers; her grandchildren, Jennifer Marquis of Winthrop, Kristen Martin (Brian) of Danvers, Kathryn Azevedo (Ed) of Topsfield, Ashley Gioia of Exeter, NH, Janelle Bruno of Gloucester, Danielle Lechner (Nick) of Belmont and Scott Marquis Jr. (Taliah) of Stafford, VA; her great grandchildren, Adam Gioia, Jake, Brynn, Drew Martin, Noemia, Jackson Azevedo, Kane, Nash Bruno and Julian Marquis; her stepchildren, Karen Kowalski (Bob) of Southhold, NY, Phil Peabody (Kathy) of Hope Valley, RI and Scott Peabody (Cyd) of Barrington, NH; and her friend Ann Little of Salem. She is also survived by step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church in Rowley, or Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem.
