He was predeceased by: his wife Anne McGrath (Mahoney); and his son Joseph McGrath. He is survived by: his son Joe; his daughter-in-law Nancy McGrath (late Joseph McGrath); his sons, Robert (Anna), Kevin (Kim) and Justin (Rosie); his grandchildren, Daniel, Stephanie, Christina, Julianna, Andrew and Cassandra; and his great grandchild Lyla.
