He is survived by: his wife Mary Stewart (Manning); his children, Kathleen Ambrosio (Luis) of Stoughton, Karyn Stewart of Roslindale, Maureen Karageanis (William) of Norwood and Ronald Stewart (Jennifer Ratcliffe) of Stoughton; his grandchildren, Brittany Gay, Shalyn Hiltz, Thomas and Joseph Stewart; and also Geraldine Stewart O'Leary.
