With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louie Karalexis (Roslindale, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Louie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Louie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Louie leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Angelo Karalexis and Anna Karalexis (Athanasiou); his sister Sandra Gikas; his brother-in-law Lawrence Lambert; his daughter Suzanne Dowd; his granddaughter Morgan Dowd-Allan; and also Leonidas Gikas. He was also cherished by family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Russo Funeral Home (814 American Legion Hwy, Roslindale, MA 02131). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church (39 Belgrade Ave, Boston, MA 02131).
