He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Angelo Karalexis and Anna Karalexis (Athanasiou); his sister Sandra Gikas; his brother-in-law Lawrence Lambert; his daughter Suzanne Dowd; his granddaughter Morgan Dowd-Allan; and also Leonidas Gikas. He was also cherished by family members and friends.
