He was predeceased by: his son Brian T. Savage; and his siblings, Rev. Thomas, Paul and Robert Savage. He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Savage (Yarosh); his son Mark J. Savage (Kathryn L. Hand); and his granddaughters, Kaitlyn "Kay" and Megan Savage. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
