He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sofia Gavrielidis (Spanidis) and Sofocles Gavrielidis; his wife Stella Gavrielidis (Bakola); his children, Sofocles Gavrielidis (Sophia) of Braintree and Dimitrios Gavrielidis (Lindsay) of Providence, RI.; and his siblings, Georgia Teloniatis of Roslindale, Nikolaos Gavrielidis of Norwood and Eleftherios Gavrielidis of Abington. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Georgios' memory to St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church.
