He was predeceased by: his wife Anastasia (Tsolias). He is survived by: his children, Stamatios Dimitrakopoulos (Andrea) of Abington and Spiros Dimitrakopoulos (Sara) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Abigail, Hannah and Nathan; and his siblings, Angela, Nikoletta, Giorgos and Yianni. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
