He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Whittemore and Edith Whittemore (Ward) of Roslindale, MA.; his wife Teresa (Rooney); his siblings, Judith Roberts, Diane Sweeney and Lewis Whittemore; and his son Joseph Whittemore.
He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Romano Biagini (Daniel) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Katherine and Nicholas; his great grandchild Benjamin; his grandchildren, Julia, Rachael and Aidan; and his daughter-in-law Sue Cole.
