He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Grimes (Griffin) and Elliot Grimes; and his wife Mary Murphy Twomey Grimes. He is survived by: his brother David Grimes of Vero Beach, FL.; his cousins, Nancy, Victor Pallazola of Rockport, MA, Richard and Claire Griffin of Tacoma, WA; and his stepdaughter Anita Phipps of Holliston.
