Pauline J. Coulter Obituary

Pauline J. Coulter, 84, of Rockport, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022, at the Addison Gilbert Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in South Portland Maine, Pauline was the daughter of the late Paul and Phyllis (O'Neil) King. She was the beloved wife of Henry Zablonski and of the late Frederick E. Coulter.

Pauline graduated from Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine in 1956. She moved to Rockport with Fred in 1960. Pauline also worked in purchasing at Gortons in Gloucester for many years.

Among her favorite activities were dancing, music, gardening, crossword puzzles, watching her grandchildren's sporting events, hosting family parties at her home, coffee gatherings with her friends and watching the Boston Bruins. Pauline enjoyed many years of going to her camp at Lake Aziscohos in Maine with her family.

In addition to Henry, she is survived by her daughters, Julie Ciaramitaro and her husband Jim of Gloucester and Kristin Teele and her husband Ronald of Harwich; son-in-law Gary Young of Templeton; six grandchildren - Bryan, Stephen, Katherine and Elizabeth Ciaramitaro, Benjamin, and Robert Teele.

She was predeceased by her first husband Frederick E. Coulter, her daughter Deborah (Coulter) Ciaramitaro and her sister Geraldine Diehl.

The family would like to thank the Steele 1 nursing staff at AGH for their wonderful care and compassion. In keeping with her wishes, she will be remembered at a Celebration of Life, at a time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Rockport Firemen's Association, P.O. Box 2, Rockport, MA. 01966 or the National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation 2843 E. Grand River Ave #230, East Lansing, MI 48823.
